We are poised to deliver 600 trains to PRASA in a manufacturing and service contract valued at R51-billion. With the construction of a world-class manufacturing plant at Dunnottar in Ekurhuleni, Gauteng, our project will also make South Africa a leading exporter of commuter trains and other railway products to the rest of Africa. Each recruitment step at Gibela is an opportunity for us to continue the conversation that starts when you respond to our initial job advertisement. Here are our recruitment steps, from your initial application to receiving a job offer:
Preselection – based on examining your qualifications
Interview invitation – the opportunity for us to get to know the prospective candidate better and provide clarity on the position
Face-to-face interview – with our Human Resources Department and the hiring manager
Second interview (if the first interview is successful)
References and various tests – various tests online, at our office or at a third-party location, as well as a pre-employment medical test
Final offer – based on the outcomes of an agreement between the candidate and our Human Resources Department
