The first of 600 new commuter trains for South Africa - built by Gibela Rail Transport Consortium (Gibela) - were today launched by the President of the country, Jacob Zuma, and the customer, the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA), at an inaugural ceremony held in Pretoria.
